This solution is perfect for new businesses looking to establish their first presence online.   In order to keep the pricing low, the website will be built using a special set of basic themes.  We will modify the color/theme to match the clients business’ branding and will include the clients logo/photos to the site.

This solution is perfect for small businesses looking for an entry level website and blog.  The site will be built using a professional theme chosen by the client.  We will do a minimal amount of custom modification, including changing colors, adding the clients logo, etc… The client will have access to the back end and will be able to edit and maintain the content themselves. The site will include:

Professional Website & Blog
Starting at $1399

This is our most popular package and what we recommend for most businesses. The site can have the look and feel of almost any other site.  The site will have a back-end for the client that will enable them to edit current content as well as easily add new content.  This option is best for businesses looking to develop a site to be easily expandable or for clients seeking more elaborate functionality.  Designs may include advanced design modifications, stylish sliders and other custom design elements. Most of the sites in our portfolio are this type of design.

The site will include:

  • A creative design on the WordPress platform
  • Up to 8 pages in addition to the home and contact page
  • Additional pages are $79 each
  • Content & image ideas to be provided by client

Webmaster Hosting Service
$35 per month

Webmaster hosting is required for the Budget and Starter website services. Our webmaster hosting package includes up to one hour per month for design, service and support.  This enables the client to request small changes or seek assistance maintaining the site without paying the hourly freelance rate.  Even though WordPress sites will be editable by the client, there are often custom design elements that will need webmaster maintenance.  There will also be the need for periodic maintenance and upgrades that should be handled by us. We strongly recommend webmaster hosting for all dynamic sites.

Other Hosting Option

For people who purchase a Professional web design package who do not want us to host their site, we recommend Host Gator Web Hosting.    Note that the client will be responsible for the complete maintenance of the website and will be billed our hourly design rate of 85.00 (minimum 30 minutes) for any and all assistance.  If you opt for any hosting service other than Host Gator, then there will be a 50.00 fee so we can learn that hosts control panel.

At Subtle Network Design & Marketing we are always cost conscious. Saving our clients' money is one of our primary goals. The truth is, however, that sometimes the best solutions take more time. Since we want to serve each client’s needs and deliver the best product we can, it helps if we understand our clients priorities.

Price is the most important factor.
You're willing to compromise functionality and custom design elements in order to keep costs low. You will trust our artistic eye and be fine with whatever we do. You're looking for something down and dirty; you just want to be online.
Price is important, but I understand that I get what i pay for.
You don't need anything too fancy, but definitely would like something that stands out. You understand that in order to keep costs low, you will have to limit customization and design revision requests. Overall you're looking for a fairly basic, yet professional website.
A quality design is most important.
You don't want to spend an arm and a leg, but you really want something unique and eye catching. You understand that innovative, custom designs take longer to create and are therefore more expensive.
I want my site to be the highest quality possible.
You really want us to do our best work and you're willing to pay for it. You want your site to be on the shoulders above all of your competitors.

We prefer to work on projects that have a budget. This does not mean we will always use the entire budget, but it helps us to identify the best ways we can help.

Content

Having well written, informative and high converting content is, in many cases, as important as having a quality design. Quality content is important for visitors, but search engines also rely on a site's content to determine what a site is about. Generally speaking, the more content the better. A minimum of 350 words per page is what we recommend. Our professional copywriters can assist you if you are having trouble (or just don’t feel like) creating your content.

Note: This is an important factor, we recommend that you take a moment and create an outline of your site.

We will not begin the design phase of a website until the final content is submitted. If you do not have your content finalized, this should be your immediate priority.

SEO & Keyword Research

Our sites are all built with basic SEO compliance. In truth, however, this is often not enough. One of the first steps when developing a site should be to develop a strategy for search engines. For example, knowing what terms prospects use when they search for your product or service is essential if you hope to be visible online. Often times a website will be optimized for terms that are rarely searched. We can, before we begin, conduct the necessary keyword research and then structure the site to be optimized for these phrases. We’ll also provide you a basic SEO strategy roadmap you can follow when we are done.

Social Media

Social media is not going away. It is becoming a larger and larger part of our lives. Having a social presence has become essential for any business looking to compete online. We recommend creating custom Facebook, Twitter & YouTube pages for your business. Ideally these pages should be designed to match the look of your site. We can also set up these pages so that they automatically update as you add more content to your website.

Call to Action & Lead Capture

Getting traffic to your site is only half of the battle. Making sure that traffic interacts with your business is also important. Having a clearly defined conversion and an attractive call to action are essential if you want to maximize your sites profitability. We recommend having a lead capture offer in order to encourage people to provide you their information. We can then set up a series of automatic emails that are sent to the prospect.

NOTE: “Calling Me” is a dangerous answer because less than 40% of visitors interested in your service will ever pick up the phone.
